She was born on July 17, 1941, in Uvalde to Guillermo and Tomasita Hernandez. She was retired from Wharton ISD and the Wharton Junior College food service department. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pettus.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Isaias Del Bosque of Normanna; one daughter, Belinda Ann Olguin of Richmond; three sons, Ernest (Kimberly) Del Bosque of Normanna, Albert (Sandra) Del Bosque of Austin and Oscar (Gayle) Del Bosque of Wharton; two sisters, Sulema (Robert) Ruiz and Irma (Freddy) Ruiz, both of Brady; two brothers, Elias (Graciela) Hernandez of Uvalde and Ricardo (Irma) Hernandez of Brownwood; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Thursday from 1 to 9 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home. A rosary was recited there at 7 o’clock that evening.
The funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Luke officiating. Burial followed at the Del Bosque Cemetery in Normanna.
Pallbearers were Ernest Del Bosque, Albert Del Bosque, Oscar Del Bosque, Arturo Jimenez, Rudy Hernandez, and Arthur Hernandez.
