Charles and Lori Bednorz of George West are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Suzanne Bednorz, to Bradley Wade Kocurek of Cuero.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of George West High School and a 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University-College Station, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a specialization in technology management and a minor in business administration. She is currently employed as an IT support specialist for Texas Monthly in Austin. She is the granddaughter of Hilbert and Verna Laechelin of Beeville and Bernard and Margaret Bednorz of George West.

The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of Cuero High School and a 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University-College Station, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental design and master of architecture. He is currently employed as a licensed architect for SHW Group Inc. in Austin. He is the son of Frank and Laura Kocurek of Cuero and the grandson of Edith Kocurek and the late Frank Kocurek of Schulenburg and the late Wilbert and Alice Aschenbeck of Cuero.

The couple plan to wed at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Beeville on April 30 at 2 p.m.
