First Baptist Church School will hold its annual scholarship fundraiser Friday, March 25. This year, the event will feature a concert by Christian country recording artist Clifton Jansky.

All of the money raised at the event will be used to help FBCS students who attend the school on scholarship.

Jansky is a top recording artist who has performed all over the world. Country enthusiasts may know him as the writer of “Amarillo by Morning,” performed by George Strait.

Jansky has also recorded several Christian country hits, such as “Amazing Grace” and “Can You Hear Me Now,” his latest number one single.

A San Antonio native, Jansky has won Christian Country Music Association (CCMA) Recording Artist of the Year twice.

The concert will be held in the First Baptist gym and will begin at 6:30 p.m. Presale tickets cost $12. At the door, tickets will be $15. Kids’ tickets are $6.

Tickets are available at the First Baptist Church offices, the Lodge at Shorty’s Place and Schulz & Wroten Pharmacy.

The event will also include a barbecue dinner, live and silent auctions. Child care will be provided.
