Beeville Community Chorus to present annual talent show

The Beeville Community Chorus will present its eighth annual talent show on Saturday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Gertrude R. Jones Fine Arts Auditorium on the campus of Coastal Bend College.

The performers in the show are all members of the Beeville Community Chorus and include Jeff Brewer, assistant director of the choir, Nancy Jones, Sally Friedlander, Matthew Collier, Leah, Benjamin and Philip Brewer, Sydnie Maguire, Donna Davis, Katheryn Mylnar, Emily Barris, Naida Davis and Carolyn Hamrick. A variety of selections will be performed from gospel, Broadway musicals and ragtime to Italian arias. Dr. James Lee, artistic director of the Beeville Community Chorus, will accompany several of the performers.

Beginning at 7 p.m. in Room B-120 in the Fine Arts Building, patrons will have the opportunity to bid in a silent auction. There will also be a bake sale. The silent auction will close five minutes before show time and reopen during intermission for 15 minutes and once again for 30 minutes at the conclusion of the show.

Tickets are $8 for all children 11 years old through adult. Children 10 years and younger will be free. Advance tickets may be purchased from any choir member. Tickets will also be available at the door.
