The Beeville Stingers Bicycle Club will hold a garage sale Saturday, March 26, to raise money for the MS 150 ride from Houston to Austin, set for April 16 and 17.

All proceeds from the sale and any donations will go directly to the National MS Society to be used for multiple sclerosis research.

The sale will take place from 8 a.m. until noon at the home of Cruz and Veronica Alaniz at 2127 N. Ave. D in Beeville.

The Stingers said they will have some nice items, including computers and television sets, but even those who don’t wish to purchase anything are still welcome to make donations.

Six riders are participating in this MS 150. They are Donna Richmond, David Bell, Sam Arispe, Gary Gray and Cruz and Veronica Alaniz.

The fundraising goal for the group is $2,400, which equals $400 per rider.

If you have any questions, you may call Donna Richmond at 834-7484 or Gary Gray at 542-9970.

Donations to the team also can be made by going to, selecting the BP MS 150 Houston to Austin ride and clicking on “make a donation.” The team name is Beeville Stingers.
