Refugio retired from the City of Beeville as Foreman after serving his community for 19 years. He was born on September 15, 1946, in Beeville, Texas, to the late Refugio and Victoria Dominguez.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jose Maria Dominguez, Francisco Dominguez and Luciano Dominguez; his sisters, Maria Refugia Dominguez, Juanita Alvarado, Miguela Puga and Elena Arrendondo.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years of marriage, Gloria Garcia Dominguez of Beeville, Texas; one son, Adrian G. Dominguez (Rose) of Beeville, Texas; two daughters, Angelica Delgado (Robert) of Frensno, Texas, and Mary Ann Dominguez of Beeville, Texas; his niece, Lillie Sanchez of Beeville, Texas, and several other nieces and nephews; his three grandchildren, Ariana Grace Dominguez, Gabriel Bryce Dominguez and Alyssa Marie Dominguez; and several other nieces and nephews; two brothers, Rogelio Dominguez of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Ernesto Dominguez of Victoria, Texas; one sister, Margaret Borrego of Beeville, Texas; one uncle, Ysidro Benitez of Beeville, Texas.
Visitation was held on Saturday from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary was recited on Sunday at 7 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday at 2 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Pasala Balaswamy officiating. Private burial was held at a later date.
Pallbearers were Macario Alvarado Jr., Rene Dominguez, Margarito Keller, Eric Waddell, Javier Sanchez Jr. and Jose Chapa.
Honorary Pallbearers were Robert Delgado, Nieves Botello Sr., Albert Garcia, John Estrada, Javier Sanchez and Luis Banda.
