Delia Aleman Nieto, 53, of Beeville died Sunday, March 27, 2011.

Mrs. Nieto was born in Beeville on Oct. 2, 1957, to Adan Aleman Sr. and Candela Padron Aleman. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jorge Nieto Jr.; two brothers, Antonio Aleman and Adan Aleman Jr.; and a sister, Beatrice De La Rosa.

Survivors include a son, Ronald (Melissa) Aleman of Beeville; two daughters, Estella (Roland) Rivera and Dolores (Jerry) Maldonado, both of Taft; three sisters, Alicia (Julian) Chapa of George West, Sylvia (Julio) Zuniga and Aurora Ramirez, both of Beeville; five grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Wednesday from 3 to 9 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o’clock.

The funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Eddie Garcia officiating. Burial followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.

Pallbearers were Julio Zuniga Jr., David Lee Zuniga Sr., Elias A. Chapa Sr., Ruben Martinez Jr., Julian Blakely and Ernest Ramirez.
