BALL (Be Active, Live Longer) met Friday, June 3, for its monthly covered dish luncheon at the First United Methodist Church.

Nyla Irwin and Jane Cecil, the decorating committee, prepared the tables using a Hawaiian theme of floral leis and foil ornamental palm trees as center pieces.

Jimmy Jackson entertained attendees with a combination of scenic and bird pictures from his recent field trip to the Big Bend area in Texas. The presentation culminated with pictures of earlier days of Beeville public buildings.

Marchetta White was the recipient of the door prize.

BALL members will not meet in July in observance of the July 4th holiday weekend.
