Clifford William New and Eva Marie Trial, both of Beeville, were wed on April 2, at 4:30 p.m. in Elmendorf with their family and friends present.

The bride wore a long satin, strapless, corset-style gown embellished with crystal beads and satin stitching. The train had a satin overlay with a scalloped edge underneath completely adorned with crystal beads. She wore a mid-back length veil. Her bouquet was made of calla lilies and cherry blossoms.

She was walked down the aisle and given by her father, Emil Trial. The bridesmaids included her daughters, Celeste Pace and China Taylor, friends Teresa Davis (maid of honor) and Pam Harrel.

The groom wore a black tuxedo with a light pink vest, matching tie and matching handkerchief. Groomsmen were Robert Cisneros (best man), Karl Tow, Allen Deihl and Norman Davis. The flower girls were Megan and Brooke Ashworth, and the ring bearer was Draven Wilkes.

The bride’s cake was an orange cake with pink icing, white flowers and butterflies. The groom’s cake was a chocolate spice cake with chocolate icing, white hearts and two “Coca-Cola” style bottles filled with red heart candy on top.

The couple danced to “Breeze” by Faith Hill.
