Pauline Audre (Lindholm) Ratliff, 93, of San Antonio, formerly of George West, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2011.

Mrs. Ratliff was born Oct. 29, 1918, in Mikeska to Scott and Eva Gallagher Lindholm. She married James Ratliff in Beeville on June 1, 1940, and was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in San Antonio and St. George Catholic Church in George West. She worked for the Credit Bureau in Devine and was a member of the Altar Society, 4-H club and Home Demonstration Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ratliff, on Nov. 13, 1989.

Survivors include a son, James (Tesona) Ratliff of Kerrville; two sisters, Charlyne Davis of Corpus Christi and Alice (Frank) Glade of Houston; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Monday, Nov. 7, at 9 a.m. at St. George Catholic Church. A rosary was recited there at 9:30 a.m.

The funeral Mass was celebrated at the church following the rosary at 10 o’clock with Father George Johnson officiating. Musical selections were provided by organist Barbra Bednorz. Burial followed in Gussettville Cemetery.
