Mr. Treviño was born in the Clareville community on Feb. 23, 1924. He retired as a truck driver from Dresser Industries.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro Treviño Sr. and Blasita Ramirez Treviño.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Perez Treviño of Beeville; two sons, Joe (Anne) Treviño of Austin and Erasmo Treviño of Beeville; one daughter, Yolanda (Joe) Benavides of San Antonio; two brothers, Adalberto and Aurelio Treviño, both of Beeville; five sisters, Trinidad Garcia, Beatrice (Ralph) Sandoval and Anita Perez, all of Beeville, Ofelia (Elpidio) Guerra of San Antonio and Dora Gonzales of Killeen; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011. A rosary was recited that evening at 7:30 o’clock at Treviño Funeral Home chapel.
The funeral Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Luke officiating. Burial followed at the San Pedro Cemetery in the Clareville community.
Pallbearers were Adrian Treviño, Damien Treviño, Jonathan Benavides, Tomas Saenz, Javier Perez and Jaime Perez.
Honorary pallbearers were Alexander Treviño and Juan Soliz.
