Christina Stamps Council, 36, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, after battling cancer.

Mrs. Council was born June 22, 1975, in Phoenix, Ariz., to James Stamps and Ellen Lopez. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Three Rivers.

Survivors include her husband of 14 years, Bud Council of Three Rivers; three daughters, Lillie, Hailie and Emilie Council of Three Rivers; her parents, James Stamps of Rockland, Calif., and Ellen Lopez of Tempe, Ariz.; father-in-law, Claude Council Sr. of Dayton, Nev.; mother-in-law, Dolores Noland of Hanford, Calif.; brothers, Joe Stamps of Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, and Jimmy Stamps of Rockland, Calif.; and a sister, Adrienne Lopez of Tempe, Ariz.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, from 4 to 9 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Three Rivers. A prayer service was held there at 7 o’clock.

The funeral service was conducted Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at 10 a.m. at church with Rev. Norman Sulaica Jr. officiating. Burial followed at the Harris Family Cemetery in Swinney Switch.

Pallbearers were John Harris, Grady Harris, Patrick Nelson, Lonnie Anzaldua, Abel Anzaldua, Claude Earl Council Sr., Joe Stamps and Jimmy Stamps.
