Vocational nursing program fall entrance exam offered

Students applying for the fall vocational nursing program will have an opportunity to take the entrance exam in Pleasanton beginning in January.

The TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is an online, 170-item, four-option, multiple-choice assessment which costs $25. Scores will be sent directly to the director of nursing who will contact testers about their status in the program.

Potential students can contact Sharon Mayberry at (830) 569-4222, ext. 1218, for further information and to schedule an appointment for the exam. The exam schedule is as follows (students must be in the testing center at the start of the exam): Feb. 5 at 8 a.m.; Feb. 9 at 5 p.m; Feb. 11 at 8 a.m.; Feb. 12 at 5 p.m.; Feb. 17 at 8 a.m.; Feb. 19 at 8 a.m.; Feb. 21 (Saturday) at 9 a.m.; Feb. 23 at 8 a.m.; Feb. 25 at 8 a.m.; Feb. 27 at 8 a.m.; March 3 at 8 a.m.; March 5 at 8 a.m.; March 9 at 5 p.m.; March 11 at 8 a.m.; March 12 at 5 p.m.; March 24 at 8 a.m.; March 26 at 8 a.m.; March 28 (Saturday) at 9 a.m.
