Louella M. Graham, 80, of Tuleta, died on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009.

She was born July 28, 1928, in Buckholts to Beulah Glass Massey and Morrison Levi Massey. She graduated from Texas A&I University at Kingsville. On May 1, 1953, she married Perry Graham in Pettus. She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Pettus-Tuleta Fire Department, First Baptist Church of Pettus, Texas State Teachers Association and the American Legion Auxiliary of Sanderson.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeannette Lourene Graham.

Survivors include her husband, Perry R. Graham Sr. of Tuleta; one daughter, Louise Graham Allen of Luling; one son, Perry Ray (Monica) Graham Jr. of Sanderson; one sister, Irene (Robert) Helm of Midland; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. today (Saturday) at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Vernon Andrews and Rev. Jack Allen officiating.

Pallbearers will be members of the Pettus-Tuleta Fire Department. Honorary pallbearers will be Duane Merrell, Homer Walters, Roland Salazar, Floyd Wolff, Robert Helm, Julius Helm, Mike Amador, Harmon Duvall and Glen Graham.
