Pat Moore Caudle, 77, of Port Isabel, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Valley Baptist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Caudle was born in Carlton on Oct. 11, 1935. He and his wife, Debbie Caudle, were married for 28 years, living first in Dallas and retiring to Port Isabel. He was a pioneer in the insurance business, working for Life Insurance Company of the Southwest. He was co-founder of Executive Outfitters Hunting Company in Brownwood for 30 years. He enjoyed being captain of his boat, the “Shalimar”.

He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Caudle.

Survivors include a daughter, Angi (Reggie) Elder of Beeville; a son, Chris (Shelly) Caudle of Laguna Vista; four grandchildren, Whitney Fuller, Trey Fuller, Natalie Elder and Easton Caudle; and three brothers, Brodie Caudle of Junction, John Caudle of Levelland and Mac Caudle of San Angelo.

A memorial service was held at First United Methodist Church, located at 101 W. Adams in Port Isabel, on Sunday, Jan. 20, at 3 p.m.
