She was born Aug. 1, 1931, in Clareville to Teodoro and San Juanita Treviño.
Survivors include six daughters, Anna Ortiz of Matador, Irene Gonzales of Tynan, Belen Rubio, Delia Gonzales, Janie Ochoa and Frances Fonseca, all of Mathis; two sons, Abel Fonseca of Floydada and Daniel Fonseca Jr. of Mathis; one sister, Evagelina Soliz of Big Spring; 26 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary was recited Monday, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m. at Dobie Funeral Home Chapel in Mathis.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday morning, Feb. 5, at 10 o’clock at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mathis. Burial was in Descanso Eterno #2 Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Dobie Funeral Home, Mathis.
