Vernie Ray Hinton, 87, of Beeville, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.

Mrs. Hinton was born Feb. 23, 1925, in Denison. She was the youngest of eight children born to Clara and George Sinor.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ira B. Hinton.

Survivors include two daughters, Joy Castellow of Pasadena and Michelle Jackson of Beeville; a son, Edward Adamczyk of The Colony; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Gary Jackson; a daughter-in-law Terry Adamczyk; and many other extended family members.

Visitation was held at Treviño Funeral Home chapel on Friday, Feb. 15, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The funeral service was held there Saturday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Holt officiating. Burial followed at Glenwood Cemetery in Beeville.

Pallbearers were Mark Runnels, Rodney Tucker, Joseph Young, Joseph Hinton, Bryan Hinton and Wesley Hinton.
