BEEVILLE — Beeville’s very own Obliterates were set to bring their energetic brand of acoustic punk rock to the Paisano Ballroom stage Friday night.

They were to perform live and welcoming, for the first time in Beeville, Avenue Rockers, Now Dream Spoke The Ventriloquist and Moose Bones, all from Corpus Christi.

Obliterates have been putting on eclectic rock shows at least once a month locally at the only place that will allow such raucous, rocking bands and audience members.

The show’s sponsors, Cutting Edge Salon, B Paleteria, Price Supply, Dynasty Enterprises, So Tex Customs, Affordable Collision Repair Center, Ink It Over and Maldonado’s Tire Center, all show their support of such a multifaceted experience these bands bring.

And with every show, the crowds grow larger and the age range widens.

So, if you feel like getting down or maybe trying something a bit different, head over to the only real rock venue in town and have fun.

The show was scheduled Friday, Feb. 15, and the doors were to open at 7:30 p.m. at the Paisano Ballroom, 300 W. Hefferman St.
