The bride-elect is the daughter of Rickey and Abegail Garcia of Beeville and the granddaughter of Ramon and Josefina Salazar of Ganado. She is a 2008 graduate of A.C. Jones High School.
The prospective groom is the son of Gilbert and Janie Salazar Sr. of Waco and the grandson of Delfina Salazar and Placido Salazar of Waco. He is a 1993 graduate of Midway High School in Waco.
The couple plan to wed April 12 at 4 p.m. at the Circle E in Beeville.
