Sheldon Maurer of Beeville runs past a sinkhole opened up next to the Coastal Bend College walking trail. Currently, the college is working with the City of Beeville to address the problem because the sinkhole is within the city’s easement. Community members using the walking trail are cautioned to observe warning signs and barricades until the problem is resolved.
