Brenda Cantu, 41 died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013. She was born Dec. 3, 1971, in Beeville.

She was preceded in death by her father, Enrique Cantu Sr., and her sister, Belinda Cantu.

Survivors include her mother, Lydia Cantu of Beeville; two brothers, Enrique (Ryan) Cantu Jr. of Normanna and Josef Garcia of Beeville; three sisters, Bernice (Roman)Martinez, Patricha (Danny) Cantu and Amanda (Jose) Puente, all of Beeville.

Visitation was held Saturday, March 2, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 7 o’clock.

The funeral service was held there Sunday, March 3, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating. Burial followed at the Tuleta Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Roman Martinez, Andrew Cantu, Enrique Cantu Jr., Josef Garcia, Max Vasquez Jr., Jose Estrada and Danny Campos.
