Mary Beatrice Pfannstiel, 82, of Beeville, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013.

Mrs. Pfannstiel was born May 7, 1930, in Hallettsville to Ben and Sarah (Hoffer) Miller. She married Raymond Pfannstiel in December 1955 in Seguin. She had worked for Polloks Store in Falls City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Pfannstiel; a daughter, Mary Massoglia; two daughters- in-law, Judie Pfannstiel and Ruby Pfannstiel; and a great-granddaughter, Alex Pfannstiel.

Survivors include two sons, Johnny Polson of Spring and Tommy R. Pfannstiel of Beeville; a daughter, Shirley Tratechaud of Superior, Wis.; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel on Sunday, March 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The funeral service was conducted there at 1 o’clock, and a graveside service followed at San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin at 3:30 p.m.

Pallbearers were Luis Tavarez, Thomas James Pfannstiel, Daniel Burris, Samuel Duran, Anthony Guerra and Marcos Burris.
