Antonio Armijo Gomez, 42, died Saturday, March 2, 2013.

Mr. Gomez was born Nov. 14, 1970, in Beeville. He was employed with First Baptist Church and was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by a brother, David Armijo Gomez; a daughter, Victoria Marie Gomez; his paternal grandmother, Felipa Duarte; and his maternal grandparents, Faustino and Merced Armijo.

Survivors include his parents, Merced and Gavino Gomez Sr. of Beeville; four sons, Joe Anthony, Mark Anthony, Jacob Anthony and Gabriel Anthony Gomez, all of Beeville; a daughter, Roxanne Marie Gomez of Beeville; four brothers, Gavino D. Gomez Jr., Joe D. Gomez (Rubi), Roy Gomez (Bonnie) and Alfredo A. Gomez, all of Beeville; three sisters, Sonia Gomez (Angel) Puga, Cathy Armijo (Michael) Salinas and Betty B. Armijo (Leroy) Gonzales, all of Beeville.

Visitation was held Wednesday, March 6, from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Treviño Funeral Home chapel. A rosary was recited that evening at 7 o’clock.

The funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, March 7, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Rev. Luke officiating. Burial followed at the Glenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gavino D. Gomez Jr., Alfredo A. Gomez, Joe Anthony Gomez, Leroy M. Gonzales, Joe Gomez Jr. and Johnny Perez Jr.
