Job fair returning to Expo Center

The annual Beeville Community Job Fair is coming to the Expo Center on April 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bee County Expo Center.

Coastal Bend College, in conjunction with the Bee County Expo Center, Kicker 106, WorkSource, and Beeville ISD, will host the third annual Beeville Community Job Fair on April 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bee County Expo Center.

The job fair is open to anyone interested in employment and professional skills. CBC students are encouraged to attend. Representatives from Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend, Bee First Primary Home Care, Key Energy, Kicker 106, Hacienda Oaks Nursing Home, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Texas Department of Public Safety, Bee County Extension Office, USDA Natural Resources Conservation, U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, Ignite Independent Associates and Angel Care Ambulance will assist participants in finding job opportunities and provide information about the work force.

Coastal Bend College will have representatives from the following departments: drafting and design, airframe and power technology, oil and gas, cosmetology, computer information technology, welding, law enforcement and continuing education.

There will be three 30-minute informative training sessions on the following schedule:

Morning schedule

• Resume writing – 10:30 a.m.

• Interview tips – 11 a.m.

• What to wear/what not to wear – 11:30 a.m.

Afternoon schedule

• Resume writing – 12:30 p.m.

• Interview tips – 1 p.m.

• What to wear/what not to wear – 1:30 p.m.
