Mr. Lepchenske “Ske” spent 20 years in the Navy (retired) and was an air traffic controller.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeane Gilliam Lepchenske on March 21, 2013; a sister, Patti Perkins of Ponca City, Okla.; and a step-son, Clay Fox.
Survivors include a son, Eric (Vita) Lepchenske of Maryville, Ill.; a daughter, Kathy Lepchenske Blair; grandchildren, Michael, Brittany and Stephanie; and other numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry of Bethalto, Ill., and Herb Lepchenske of Marrietta, Ga.; a sister, Carolyn (Roy) Flowers; and step-children, Claudia Clark, Darrell Fox, Willard Joe Fox, Tracy Olson, Jeffrey Fox and Justin Hedrick.
Visitation was held Friday, July 12, at 10 a.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel in Beeville.
The funeral service was conducted there at 1 o’clock that afternoon. Interment was in Glenwood Cemetery, Beeville.
Pallbearers were Willard Fox, Brandon Nesloney, Jason Williams, Iann Williams, Jackie Irwin and Stoney Weaver. Honorary pallbearers were Colt Fox, Darrell Fox, Owen Graves and Jeffrey Fox.
Arrangements were under the direction of Moore’s Southlawn Chapel in Tulsa, Okla., and Galloway & Sons Funeral Home, Beeville.
