The state jobless rate for the month was reported at 6.7 percent, which is lower than the 7.4 rate at the same time in 2012.
Victoria reported an unemployment rate of 5.5 percent.
DeWitt County reported a jobless rate of 5.2 percent. The lowest unemployment rate for July in the Golden Crescent was 4.6 percent reported by Lavaca County.
Gonzales County reported a reduction of jobless claims from 5.2 percent to 4.9.
