Mrs. Villanueva was born May 25, 1942, in Glendale, Calif., to Merton Millard and Hazel (Merchant) Stevens of Los Angeles, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Merton and Hazel Stevens; an aunt, Elsie Merchant; uncle, Keith Merchant, and nephew, Eric Stevens.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Domingo Villanueva of Three Rivers; daughters, Ellen (Bryan) Drummon of Cleveland, Okla., Larissa (Michael) Sotelo of Adelanto, Calif., and Amanda (Tazs) Romo of Three Rivers; a brother, Dale (Jeanne) Stevens of Granada Hills, Calif., six grandchildren, Ashlee Romo, Adeline Drummon, Hannah Panuco, Harley Romo, Dalton Romo and Eric Sotelo.
She graduated from Eagle Rock High School in Los Angeles, Calif., in 1960, and attended Occidental College there, receiving an associate arts degree in accounting.
She married Domingo Villanueva on July 3, 1966, in Las Vegas, Nev., and worked for LAC/USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif. for many years. She retired in 1999. She enjoyed crocheting.
She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 6119 of Live Oak County and held the position of trustee.
Visitation was held at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home of Three Rivers on Friday, Nov. 8.
The funeral service was conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the First United Methodist Church in Three Rivers with Rev. Valli Blair officiating. Services concluded at the church.
Pallbearers were her nephews, Christopher Alaniz, Esteban Alaniz Jr., Luis Ponce Jr., Johnny Ponce, Buddy Villanueva, Richard Rodriguez, Ray Warren and Mark Garcia.
