Tom was a loving, gentle man who always had a smile on his face and was a first class husband, father and grandfather. He never had a bad word to say about anyone and his glass was always half full. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, boater and hunter.
He moved to Trinity Towers five years ago and developed many friendships. Living life to the fullest he never missed a happy hour at Trinity Towers or a get-together at his daughter’s home. He was dearly loved by his children’s and grandchildren’s friends. Before moving to Corpus Christi he lived in Beeville on a ranch with his son, Tom, which was a wonderful time in his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen and his son, Tom and is survived by his daughter, Jean Dotts and son-in-law Fred, his grandchildren Joe Dotts of Houston and Katie Lane (Jaret) of Austin.
A memorial service was held in the chapel at First United Methodist Church, 900 S. Shoreline Blvd., Corpus Christi, Texas 78401 on Thursday, January 16th, at 11:00 a.m. A remembrance to Tom can be made to First United Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice.
