BEEVILLE – The Fiesta Bee County Pageant Committee is currently signing up girls interested in participating in the 30th annual Mexican Cultural Pageant set for Sept. 6.

The competition is open to girls who reside, attend school or have graduated in Bee, Live Oak, Refugio, Goliad and San Patricio counties.

The three categories of the pageant include: Little Miss Division (ages 7-9), Junior Miss Division (ages 10-13), the Miss Diez y Seis Division (ages 14-18), and a Tiny Miss Division (ages 4-6).

The entry fee is $175 for the first three categories. The fee for the Tiny Miss Division is $75—they will not be competing.

For more information, contact Judy Bowen at 362-7463.

The committee is also looking for past queens of the contest to honor as part of a tribute for this 30-year celebration.

The past queens are invited not only to the pageant but also to be part of the parade and festivities on Sept. 13.
