Pettus – Children at South Texas Children’s Home Ministries’ Boothe Campus were blessed Saturday, April 11, with a campuswide Easter egg hunt.
With eggs scattered all over the meadow, at the word “go” the kids took off in all directions to gather as many eggs as possible! Among the plastic eggs filled with candy, were confetti eggs that became the highlight of the day. Confetti went floating in the breeze as kids busted them on their friends, houseparents and even managed to get some staff members in their line of fire.
After taking a break for a delicious lunch and some time for fellowship, each child received an Easter basket filled with surprises. The event wrapped up with a presentation of bicycles for kids in-care who did not already have one and the busting of piñatas. It was a jam-packed morning, full of fun and smiling faces!
The event took place thanks to the support of ConocoPhillips, Texas Energy (Alice Environmental Service), Precision Drilling, Wood Duvall Group, PAC, and SGS North America, Inc.
