Herminia V. “Minne” Rodriguez, 70, formerly of Oilton, died Friday, April 25, 2014, in Beeville.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born July 7, 1943, in Oilton to Refugio and Martha Lira Vasquez. She loved to cook and enjoyed playing bingo with friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marcos Rodriguez; three brothers; Adan, Juan and Nestor Vasquez; and two sisters, Felipa Camarillo and Elida Vasquez.

Survivors include two brothers, Reyes Vasquez and Refugio (Ofelia) Vasquez Jr., both of Laredo; six sisters, Refugia Vasquez, Aurora Sanchez and Margarita V. Parhm, all of Laredo, Virginia (Robert) Diaz of Skidmore, Susana V. Gonzalez of Corpus Christi and Carmen Vasquez of Beeville; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives.

Visitation was held Saturday, May 3, from 2 to 9 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home. A prayer service was held there at 7 o’clock that evening with Rev. Eric R. Tarver officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Laredo.
