Lee Doubrava, 77, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2014, at her home after a long illness. She was born March 23, 1937, in Linton, Indiana. Lee was a longtime member of the Arlington Heights Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Ashcraft and Iva Mae Carr Ashcraft Bassett; her step-father, Robert Kenneth Bassett; and her sister, Jacqueline Joyce Bocook.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Doubrava; her daughter, Lorri Doubrava; her sons, Allen “Butch” Doubrava, Jr. and Keith Doubrava; her brother, Kenneth (Gretchen) Bassett; one grandson, Jonathan Flack; one great-grandson, Marcus Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M. with the family present from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Sawyer-George Funeral Home.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, June 23, 2014, at Arlington Heights Church of Christ with Gary Lowe officiating. Graveside services will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas with Gene Polvado officiating.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Canning, Joey Canning, Gary Doubrava, Bill Johnson, Don Staley and Rick Staley.
