The American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) Foundation is searching for host families for the 2009-2010 school year. The non-profit Academic Year in America Foreign Exchange Program involves 15-18-year-old students who will be arriving in August from around the world to attend local high schools.

All students have been screened for English and academic ability and will arrive with their own medical insurance and spending money.

Host families can choose to host a student for one semester or full school year.

Anyone interested in sharing their home should call Laura Wier, local coordinator, at 361-578-0932; or Alisha Collins, regional director, at 1-800-322-4678, ext. 5086.
