• Monday

HAT DAY - “Put a cap on drugs” Wear your cap or hat today!!! Red links will be given to all students during their 3rd period classes. Please have the students put their names on the strips to make chains. Members of Student Council will come by and pick them up. The chains will be put on the 100 wing halls.

• Tuesday, Oct. 27

TIE DAY - “Don’t get Tied Up with drugs” Everybody wears TIES!!!!!

• Wednesday RED DAY/CRAZY SOCK DAY –“Sock it to Drugs” Everybody wears red and crazy socks!!!!

• Thursday, Oct. 29

TWIN DAY– “Double Up Against Drugs” Find your twin….and dress like them!!!

• FMC Elementary

Monday Theme: “Drugs give you the Blues”.

1. Use the cutouts to have students write down their suggestions for things to do instead of drugs. Place the cutouts on the walls outside your classrooms.

2. Crazy Hats Contest. This contest will be judged on Thursday, but students need to be told to start creating their crazy hats. Students will be judged in their classroom for the best Crazy Hat. Staff members will also be judged for best Crazy Hat. Each classroom will have a winner recognized at the Friday assembly.

• Tuesday Theme: “Team Up Against Drugs”

1. Everyone is encouraged to wear a sports shirt. Classroom with the most students wearing sports shirts will be recognized at the Friday assembly

2. Teachers will use an activity from the D.A.V.E. curriculum.

• Wednesday Theme: “Red Day”

1. Students will be encouraged to wear red to school. The classroom with the most students wearing red will be recognized at the Friday assembly.

2. Teachers will use an activity from the D.A.V.E. curriculum.

• Thursday Theme: Put a Cap on Drugs

1. Students will wear their crazy hats. Each classroom will select the best hat. Remind the winner to bring their hat back on Friday.

2. Teachers will use an activity from the D.A.V.E. curriculum.

• Monday

Love Yourself: Celebrate a Drug Free Life and Put a Cap on Drugs

Students will decorate the school with red ribbons, chains with red hearts, and red door bouquets. Students will wear interesting caps or hats.

• Tuesday

Shade Out Drugs! Students will wear “cool” sunglasses to school.

• Wednesday

Celebrate Red Ribbon Week. Students will wear red and receive a red ribbon to wear in school. Students will participate in a “Just Say No to Drugs” march.

• Thursday

WILD About a Drug Free Life. Students bring their favorite stuffed animal to school today.

TEAM UP AGAINST DRUGS (wear your favorite team T-shirt, jersey)

• TUESDAY STOMP OUT DRUGS (students will stomp out drugs by walking around the park)WEDNESDAY WEAR RED DAY

SIGN-OFF AGAINST DRUGS (students sign off against drugs)-classes make a poster, pact, contract, etc & post outside their room

Students will receive a ribbon on Monday that has a number on the back.  We will then have daily drawings for prizes.  On Wednesday, all students wearing red will receive a prize.
