Beeville ISD continues bond project work

In May of 2008, the voters of Beeville Independent School District approved a $12 million bond referendum to make needed improvements to various campuses. In an effort to keep the community informed as to the progress of the district’s efforts, the BISD is giving updates on the renovations.

R.A. Hall Elementary — Work on this campus is about 90 percent completed. Improvements include: restroom upgrades, intercom system, electrical upgrades, library expansion, stage lighting replaced, gym heating and air conditioning, a new gym floor, windows replaced, a new roof and new rooftop air conditioning units

FMC Elementary — Work on this campus is about 90 percent completed. Improvements include: restroom upgrades, intercom system, electrical upgrades, gym heating and air conditioning, a new gym floor, a new roof, rooftop air conditioning units and administration renovations.

Thomas Jefferson Elementary — Work on this campus is about 95 percent completed. Improvements include: restroom upgrades, ADA upgrades, intercom system, second floor door hardware, electrical upgrades, painting the gym, gym lighting, rooftop air conditioning units and administration expansion.

Moreno Middle School — Work on this campus is about 20 percent completed. Improvements include: electrical upgrades.

A.C. Jones High School — Work on this campus is about 85 percent completed. Improvements include: surveillance cameras, new door hardware, refurbishing homemaking, renovation to 100 wing, auditorium sound and lighting, rehab of track, new tennis courts, ag/science renovation, site drainage, storefront doors and rooftop air conditioning units.

Transportation — Completed.
