JHS class of ’53 to observe 75th birthdays

The A.C. Jones High School class of 1953 is planning a 75th Year Diamond Anniversary Reunion in Beeville on April 16 and 17.

Those who are in town on Friday, April 6, are planning to meet for a Dutch treat dinner at The Lodge at Shorty’s Restaurant at 7 p.m.

There will be a photographic exhibit of classmate Buz Brown’s pictures at the Rialto Theater Annex on Washington Street The hours of the exhibit are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for free viewing of the pictures as well as the progress of the Rialto renovation.

Saturday night, April 17, will be another Dutch treat dinner at the Cistern Restaurant at 6:30 p.m. Classmates are encouraged to bring their baby pictures as well as family and travel pictures. A birthday cake will be served to help observe the diamond birthday of most of the classmates.

Reservations are required by April 1 to Joyce Ebrom at 358-5469. All A.C. Jones graduates are included in the invitation and the response.
