Five South Texas area students earn bachelor’s from Texas State University

Texas State University at San Marcos has announced the graduation of the following South Texas area students during the spring commencement ceremonies at the university:

Audrey R. Gonzales – Beeville, bachelor’s degree in respiratory care.

Franklin G. Kopecky – Goliad, bachelor’s degree in general studies.

Chelsea B. Merks – Mineral, bachelor’s degree in management.

Shalaine D. Lankston – Pettus, bachelor’s degree in finance.

Megan L. Wieding – Three Rivers, bachelor’s degree in marketing.

Texas State is a doctoral granting university located in the Austin-San Antonio area corridor on the edge of the Texas Hill Country.

With an enrollment of 30,816 students, it is the largest campus in the Texas State University System, one of the 75 largest universities in the country and has been named one of America’s Best Value Colleges by the Princeton Review.
