Ida Belle Taylor, 79, of Kerrville and formerly of Beeville, died Sunday, July 4, 2010, in Kerrville.

Mrs. Taylor was born on June 22, 1931, in Shepard to Edward and Velma Mae Moyers-Buckalew. She married Jack Taylor on Aug. 31, 1968, in Kingsville. Prior to retirement, she and her husband owned and operated several businesses in Beeville. She enjoyed traveling and building jigsaw puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, William F. Terrell Jr. in 1988.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Jack Taylor of Georgetown; two sons, James E. (Karen) Terrell of Angelton and Wesley Taylor of Eureka Springs, Ark.; two daughters, Cynthia Taylor of Leander and Terri (Tim) Sitter of Sugar Land; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Arnold (Billie) Buckalew of Kingsville; and numerous other family members and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held in Beeville at a later date.

Arangements are under the direction of Wrights Funeral Parlor in Kerrville.
