Guests came from Houston, Austin, Alice, Corpus Christi, Shiner, El Campo and the surrounding areas to participate in this event. A barbecue and reception followed the wedding ceremony. More than 80 guests attended.

The best man was Scott New and the groomsman was Justin New. The maid of honor was Amanda New and bridesmaid was Mary Jane New. The flower girls included Breanna and Haley New. The ring bearers were Jonathan New, Hunter Cobey and Cody Hart. Fred Mitchell, the groom’s brindle retriever, served as the escort for the ring bearers as well as a groomsman during the ceremony.
