The Office of Community Outreach at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi will offer GRE and GMAT test preparation courses on campus this fall. The courses offered through Educational Testing Consultants will consist of six four-hour sessions on Saturdays beginning on Sept. 25, and running through Oct. 30.

The GRE (Graduate Record Examination), which is a requirement for admission to many graduate schools, measures verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical writing skills not related to any specific field of study. The GRE preparation class will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon. Early registration is $699 through Wednesday, Sept. 15. After that date, the cost will be $799.

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) is used by many business schools throughout the world to help evaluate applicants.

The preparation course, which is designed to improve the applicant’s test scores and increase their chances of admission to graduate school, will be offered from 1-5 p.m.

Early registration is $799 through Wednesday, Sept. 15. After that date, the cost will be $899.
