Mrs. Young was born on July 22, 1922, in Beeville, to Eluterio and Gertudes Almaguez. She graduated from A.C. Jones High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include six sons, Juan (Gloria) Baggio and Ruben (Mary) Baggio, both of San Antonio, Victor Baggio of Beeville, Alfredo (Minerva) Baggio of Lubbock, Mario Baggio of Corpus Christi and Mike (Leandra) Baggio of Beeville; three daughters, Rose Mary (Will) Lowery of Corpus Christi, Diana (Victor) Gonzales of Beeville and Terry (Daniel) Hernandez of San Antonio; one brother, Timoteo Almaguez of Huntsville; her ex-husband, Juan Baggio of Beeville; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Wednesday at Treviño Funeral Home chapel from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. A rosary was recited there that evening at 7 o’clock.
The funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Burial followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
Pallbearers were Victor Gonzales, Juan Baggio, Ruben Baggio, Victor Baggio, Mario Baggio and Mike Baggio.
Honorary pallbearers were Alfredo Baggio, Will Lowery, Joseph Baggio, Daniel Hernandez, Brian Barrera, Stephen Lowery, Victor L. Gonzales, Marcos L. Gonzales, Michael Baggio, Daniel Hernandez Jr. and Rick Lind.
