DeBord earns 6th World Archery Team spot

Recently the Texas A&M Archery Team earned their 14th National Collegiate Title. During the event held at James Madison University in Williamsburg, VA, Kayla DeBord walked away with 3 gold medals and earned a spot on the USA World University Recurve Women’s Team that will compete in Cordoba, Spain this summer. Kayla earned a gold medal in the mixed Recurve Team event, the Women’s Recurve Team event, and also defeated an opponent from Cal State Long Beach to earn her individual gold medal.

Kayla is the Daughter of Mike and Denise DeBord of Goliad. She is the granddaughter of Victor and Lucille Vasek of Hallettsville and Maurice and Evelyn DeBord of Lolita.
