VICTORIA - The Goliad All-Stars defeated the Victoria Northwest All-Stars 6-3 on Wednesday to stay alive in the District 27 Area I baseball tournament for 9- and 10-year-olds at the City of Victoria Complex.

Goliad, which lost 17-3 to Victoria Southwest on Tuesday, will play again today at 7 p.m. in the double-elimination tournament.

Gage Mendoza, Logan Capistran, Shaun Justice and Bailey Huber, Gunner Schrade and Cameron Morris all scored runs for Goliad.

Justice had an inside-the-park home run.

Huber was the winning pitcher after going the first four innings and striking out four.
