The program will be held at the Cuero VFW Hall, located off of State Highway 183, north of Cuero.
Registration will take place between 7 and 8 a.m. with the program starting promptly at 8 a.m. Participants do not need to RSVP to attend this event. Just be sure to show up early enough to allow time for registration.
The guest speakers and program topics include: “Selection of Grass Species for Re-Seeding Rangeland and Improved Pastures” – Jason Nerada, Pogue Agri Partners, Inc.; “Texas Pesticide Laws and Regulations” – Melissa Barton, Texas Department of Agriculture; and “Identification and Control of Forage Feeding Insects” – Dr. Roy Parker, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Entomologist. Final details on a couple of other programs are still being worked out.
The program will conclude around 1 p.m. There will be a $10 per person fee charged. Light snacks will be provided throughout the morning.
