KINGSVILLE – Students from Texas A&M University-Kingsville recently attended the state conference of the Texas Section of the Society for Range Management in Fredericksburg and came back big winners.

Senior Meagan Lesak was named Outstanding Student of the conference. She is a range and wildlife management major from Victoria. In addition to being named Outstanding Student, she was a member of the first place team for the Undergraduate Ranger Relays and the second-place student plant identification team.

Other members of the first-place Undergraduate Ranger Relay team were Henry Hernandez, a freshman range and wildlife management major from Pettus; and Tyler Reagan, a freshman agribusiness major from Goliad.
