The Berclair 4-H Club met on Dec. 19 at 5 p.m. at Moya’s Cafe.

President Tallis Butler called the meeting to order.

Madison Henicke led the 4-H motto, pledge, and prayer.

Safety Officer Jakob Mata gave us health tips on how to prevent the flu this holiday season.

Secretary Henicke did the roll call and presented the minutes from the November meeting. Caleb Huber gave the treasurer’s report.

Under project reports, the Butlers gave members the details of their recent wins and the Hubers went over archery results.

Tallis Butler reviewed the items under old business and then began to go over the new business.

There were several things to discuss like 9-1-1 signs, deadlines for fair registration, workdays sign-up, fair association meetings, etc.

Members collected and donated toys to the Goliad County Sheriff’s Office Silver Santa program and reviewed days to go help wrap the gifts. Jeremiah Jackson was presented with a $10 certificate to Walmart for winning a contest at last month’s meeting.

The meeting adjourned and the members held a holiday party.
