The Tigers, who outscored Refugio 21-11 in the fourth quarter, improved to 21-7 overall and 7-3 in district play. Goliad is in third place in the 30-2A standings behind Aransas Pass (10-0) and Palacios (8-2). Goliad hosts Palacios on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Denton Ohrt had 10 points in the fourth quarter and finished 13 while Dalton Sturm and Tyler Groll each had 12 for the Tigers.
