Texas Public School Week was celebrated on all campuses. Goliad Middle School had refreshments for parents and/or grandparents that had lunch with their child.
Vickie Wimberly made a painting and had all middle school students sign their name on the painting. Parents or grandparents who visited the school during Public School Week were able to put their name in a drawing for the painting. The winner was announced at the end of the day on Friday.
Goliad Middle School hosted a track and field meet on Friday and will be hosting the district meet Saturday, March 23.
March is National Nutrition Month, and school nurse Jessica Morris provided decorations in the cafeteria to help promote healthy eating.
Students and staff looked forward to spring break and the Goliad County Fair and rodeo. Classes will start back on Tuesday, March 19.
