Morris helped the Tigerettes win the 30-2A title and advance to the regional quarterfinals.
Goliad freshman Roxanne Morris was unanimously named the 30-2A Newcomer of the Year and senior teammate Bailey Janssen was unanimously chosen to the all-district first team.
Goliad’s John Reyes was named Coach of the Year.
Goliad freshman Michala Janssen earned second-team recognition and seniors McCalley Cunningham and Sara Pnacek received honorable mention as did junior Kendra England.
Pnacek, Cunningham, Samantha Castillo, Bailey Janssen, England, Stephanie Savoy, Jade Reyna, Michala Janssen and Roxanne Morris were named to the academic all-district team.
Refugio senior Morgan Klaevemann was selected Defensive MVP and Bloomington senior Brittany Wallace was unanimously chosen Offensive MVP.
Other first-team selections were Industrial sophomore Kelsey Van Pelt, Palacios senior Geneva Perez, Refugio senior Jackie Gonzalez, Bloomington senior Katie Williams, Edna junior Kacey Nidey, Refugio junior Kiasha Brown and Aransas Pass senior Keeli Oliver.
Other second-team selections were Palacios freshman Lila Filip, Refugio senior Laterrian Perkins, Tidehaven senior Robin Krenek, Aransas Pass sophomore Aylenn Cabrera, Aransas Pass freshman Kira Gaitan, Bloomington sophomore Rebekah Hardee, Edna senior Haley Orsak, Industrial sophomore Jessica Martin and Industrial sophomore Sierra Pruitt.
