Henry, Zillig exchange wedding vows May 17

GOLIAD – Alicia Aileen Henry and Tyler James Zillig, both of Goliad, were united in marriage on Saturday, May 17 at First Baptist Church in Goliad. The Reverend Jay Fleming of Goliad officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Darren and Renee Franke and Phillip and Marcia Henry. She is the granddaughter of Gary and Deanna Wacker, Douglas and Wanda Franke, and Alvin and Kathy Browning. The groom is the son of Leslie and Christy Zillig of Goliad. He is the grandson of Ray and Virginia Zillig, Alton and Sarah Oehlke, and LaNell Ressmann.

Paula Maldonado attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie Alex, Caitlin Orr, Katie Sanders, Robyn Barcroft and Tiffany Zillig. Joshua Henry, brother of the bride, served as ring bearer. Danielle Franke, sister of the bride, attended as flower girl.

Clayton Mayfield served as best man. Groomsmen were Spenser Lassmann, Kevin Jasek, Ryan Stryker, John Henry and Robert Gleinser.

A reception was held following the ceremony at the reception hall of First Baptist Church. The couple honeymooned in Fredericksburg and will reside in Goliad.

The bride is attending the University of Houston at Victoria and is employed by Margaret E. Fissler, CPA, in Goliad.

The groom received an automotive technician certificate from Wharton County Junior College and is employed by Atzenhoffer Chevrolet in Victoria.
